Armenia appoints new ambassador to Portugal 

ArmInfo.  Newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Portugal Boris Sahakyan presented his credentials to the country's President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry,  during a short tete-a-tete following the official ceremony, the  President of Portugal wished the Ambassador success in his mission,  expressing hope that his appointment would further strengthen and  develop friendly and partnership ties between the two countries and  peoples.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the significant contribution and  role of prominent Armenian businessman and philanthropist Calouste  Gulbenkian in strengthening ties between the two countries.
