Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has continued to shut down speculation linking him with the Leicester City job amid links with a move to the King Power Stadium

The Australian was tipped as a potential candidate to replace current City boss Brendan Rodgers in the past week since the 6-2 defeat at Tottenham on Saturday. Postecoglou has won 49 of his 70 games in charge at Celtic Park after arriving a year ago, helping the Hoops to the Scottish Premier League title and back into the Champions League.

Rodgers has found himself under massive pressure after the Foxes' poor start to the season and speculation around his future mounted following the defeat to Spurs.

After previously insisting the City job was "not really on (his) radar" previously, Postecoglou has continued to rule out a potential move to the East Midlands in an interview on Australian TV.

Host Waleed Aly asked the Celtic boss: "Will you really be here in November?

"The rumour mill is rife, that you'll be off to the Premier League, coaching Leicester City which, by the way, would be a fantastic triumph.

"So you'll be over there. Probably in a couple of weeks, yeah?"

Despite being put on the spot, Postecoglou was having none of it. He said: "Don't read too much into it, Waleed.

"Twelve months ago, I was the favourite to get the sack by Christmas, mate, so things change pretty quickly in football.

"I am really happy where I am, it's a massive football club, Celtic Football Club, we play in front of 60,000 people every week as you've seen.

"We have opportunities to win trophies, we are in the Champions League, I am loving it at the moment.

"I am living the dream, I am exactly where I want to be and I'm looking forward to bringing more success to the club."
